Food Allergy Testing For Children

US.Biotek Food Allergy testing for children is an immune response testing in order to define certain types of food that cause allergies to the body by using Non-IgE mediated disorder testing or using ELAISA technique.

Why should be tested

  1. It is difficult to define the offending food when you have food allergy symptoms after 2-72 hours allergen derived.

  2. It costs less for blood testing than those medical expenses that you need to pay when it comes to allergies in children.

  3. Defining the offending foods and avoid them are the cure from root causes.

Who should be tested

  • A person who has allergy or auto-immune in children with developmental delay

  • A person who always consume same types of foods

  • A person who has allergy symptoms but the IgE testing results shows Negative

  • A child who is more than 6 months of age

  • A person who has chronic symptoms without reason.

Commonly Consumed Food

  • 96 General Food

  • 96 Asian Food

  • 96 Vegetarian

  • 96 Japanese

  • 96 Mexican

Collecting blood samples procedure

  • 5 ml. or 3 stripes of blood are used by fully dropping the blood into 3 blood collecting stripes (do not use fingertip to collect the blood)

  • Leave the samples at room temperature for 2 hours

  • Collect the samples in the envelopes without using refrigerator. The samples have 60-day duration. Processing time from sending the samples to a laboratory, testing, to getting results takes approximately 1 month or less.

Recommendation before blood testing

  1. Age of the testee must be over 1 year old

  2. The testee must not use any of these following medicines or vitamins supplements within 4 days before collecting blood samples:

    • Steroid /Antibiotics

    • Medicines or vitamins for Immunity boost

    • Medicines or vitamins for allergy, cold

    • Medicines or vitamins for pain relief, muscle relaxant, anti-inflammatory

    • Vitamin C ≥ 5 g. / day

    • Chemotherapy

  3. In case of getting vaccination, the testing must be done after 1 month.

*** getting off the medication should be done under doctor’s or pharmacist’s suggestion

2. The testee must not use any of these following medicines or vitamins supplements within 4-7 days before collecting blood samples:

  • Steroid /substitute hormone

  • Medicines or vitamins for Immunity boost

  • Medicines or vitamins for allergy, cold

  • Medicines or vitamins for pain relief, muscle relaxant, anti-inflammatory

  • Antibiotics

  • Vitamin C ≥ 5 g. / day

  • Chemotherapy

*** getting off the medication should be done under doctor’s or pharmacist’s suggestion

• IgG 222

Food is an essential source of energy for the body, which should be consumed in variety and adequate amount. It has been known for decades that food can be either the best medicine or a strong poison. Somebody’s food can turn out to be somebody else’s poison. The IgG testing can tell you which is which.

Why should we do the food allergy testing?

Human body has various levels of reaction to food and chemicals. The allergic response as Urticaria Rash or Asthmatic Attacks is a mediate immune response via Immunoglobin E or IgE or Acute Food Allergy, which usually produces symptoms minutes after consuming the offending foods or substances. Whereas, another less allergic response or sensitivity as headache, migraine, fatigue, skin inflammation or irritation, chronic symptoms, weak immune systems, SLE, or leaky gut syndrome is a non-mediate immune response via Immunoglobin G or IgG or Food Intorance, which usually slowly produces symptoms after consuming the same foods or substances over and over.

Food sensitivity (IgG) can relate to health conditions such as

  • Weight loss

  • Joint issues

  • Muscle pain or skin inflammation

  • Eyes irritation

  • Dermatitis

  • Fatigue

  • Metabolic disorder

  • IBS

  • Immune systems disorder such as SLE, rheumatoid arthritis

  • Headache / Migraine

  • ADHD

  • Anxiety

  • Respiratory

  • Chronic mouth sores

  • Acne and rashes

  • Gastrointestinal

• IgE

Food allergy IgE is a hypersensitivity to the offenders, producing allergen-specific immunoglobin E (IgE) antibody after exposing to the offenders. Mast cells secrete histamine, Leukotrienes, and prostaglandins, creating various symptoms such as Shockorgan, Gastrointestinal lining skin, Eye/nasal mucous, Bronchial lining, vomiting, diarrhea, eczema, urticarial, rhinoconjunctivitis, wheeze, and asthma.

IgE with Allergy

IgE (E=Erythema) was discovered in 1963 by two famous scientists named Prof. Kimishge Ishizaka (from Denver, U.S.A.) and Prof. Gunnar Johannson (From Sweden). The research revealed IgE levels in relations to pathogenesis and severity of allergy. Then, Burrows et al. revealed IgE levels in serum in relations to pathogenesis of Asthma in all ages. They also revealed high level of specific IgE in relations to severity of allergic dermatitis.
