Stem Cell Therapy

Stem Cell Therapy is a method of bringing live healthy cells into the body to stimulate cell functions and repair damaged cells. Stem Cell Therapy is a treatment from the inner of the body. When the cells are repaired and renewed, it brings back your youthful healthy cells for your body again.

Benefits of Stem Cells

Stem Cells can develop their cells and expand themselves with no limit. They help reduce inflammation of infected tissues and repair damaged cells by secreting essential substances for cells restoration and stimulating cells renewal.

Which disease can Stem Cells cure?

Recently, the Stem Cells which have been clinically used are classified into 2 major types: Hemotopoietic Stem Cells and Mesenchymal Stem Cells.

Hematopoietic Cell Therapy

Hemotopoietic Stem Cells or Blood Stem Cells are commonly found in bone marrows. They also develop into other components of the blood such as white blood cells, red blood cells, and platelets. In Thailand, this type of stem cells involves in the treatments of cancers such as blood cancer and lymphatic cancer.

Stem Cells transplantation can be classified into 2 types based on the donors:

  1. Autologous Stem Cell is a stem cells transplantation using patients’ own blood cells.

  2. Allogenic Stem Cell is a stem cells transplantation using other’s blood such as parents, siblings, or any other donors with no relation to the receivers

Stem Cells that are commonly used are these 3 types:

  1. Blood : As blood contains a small amount of Stem Cells, stimulation of white blood cells help increase numbers of Stem Cells in the bloodstream and help enhance its functions.

  2. Bone Marrow : Bone marrow contains high quality and quantity of Stem Cells.

  3. Placenta : Placenta is another area that contains plenty of Blood Stem Cells. Doctors will cut the umbilical cord connected to the placenta and collect the blood in the area. This method has no effect to the infant.

MSC Stem Cells are used
by Holistic Medical Centre

Mesenchymal Stem Cells are the cells that are collected from various parts of the body such as milk teeth, bone marrow, or umbilical cord. This type of Stem Cells has an ability to develop into bones, cartilages, and fats.

Recently, MSC Stem Cells are clinically used for treatments of various diseases such as nervous systems diseases, bone marrow diseases, eye disease, diabetes, bone disease, and autoimmune disease.

MSC Stem Cells have a special ability to move themselves to the inflamed areas. The MSC Stem Cells that have been being used must be cultured in the medical standard laboratory that is sterilised and tested for infection.

Such MSC Stem cells are allogeneic, which means they can be injected to other persons with no tissue refusal and no danger. As the cells still do not yet express, they cannot irritate the immune systems or cause any resistance to the cells.

Injections of MSC Stem Cells help generate bio-substances that promote tissues renewals, reduce inflammation, control functions of immune systems, balance the immunes, and prevent your body from infections.

Apart from treatments of the diseases, MSC Stem Cells are also used in terms of aesthetic treatments. Injections of MSC Stem Cells into the facial skin help stimulate collagen production and reduce signs of aging such as wrinkles.

Stem Cells Therapy that are commonly used

1. Stem Cells from patients’ own body

Holistic Medical Centre can distinguish the stem cells from patients’ blood to develop into various types of cells such as muscle cells or cells that strengthen bone density. All these processes will be done in the medical standard laboratory that is sterilised and tested for infection.

2. Stem Cells from other donors

Usually, this type of Stem Cells does not have specificity to the body, but it can be used after passing the process of contagious-proof. The Stem Cells given to the receivers are collected from umbilical cord or milk teeth.

3. Stem Cells from animals

This type of Stem Cells uses Stem Cells from animals such as rabbits or sheep. Then, they are processed in the medical standard laboratory that is sterilised and tested for infection before given to the receivers.
